Tyler and I have been working on a business card design to represent the studio work that he is doing. He got proofs back yesterday. We’re considering some transparent foil embossing on the part that contains his name, but regardless, they look great. The finished product should be back in a couple of weeks.

I dropped by Tyler’s house this evening and saw two pieces that he completed in the last day or two. He was putting a gallery frame on one of them. Both are untitled at this point. The first one is amazing.

/Shawn

I dropped by Tyler’s studio the other night and saw this in the front room drying. It’s pretty amazing to think that almost all of his works start out looking like this at some point or another. And impressive, even at this stage. Yves Klein, anyone?

/Shawn

Tyler completed a new painting in the past week. It’s titled Encroachment and is currently available for purchase at Evergreen Gallery in Salt Lake City (direct link). The size of the painting is 22” wide by 28” high, and it was done on canvas.

Last weekend Tyler and I went out to Seattle to drop some paintings off at Veritables (located at 2806 East Madison in the Madison Park neighborhood). Below are some images of what you’ll find in the store. And, if you’re in the area, it’s worth dropping by. Marie Harris, the owner of Veritables, has brought together a wonderful collection of products from Oly and other manufacturers, reflecting a tasteful, sensual, midcentury and contemporary spirit.

Check out Veritables’ website at www.veritablesdecor.com for more information (direct link).

If you have any questions about any of the pieces that you see pictured, feel free to contact Tyler at (801) 979-2470 or Marie Harris at Veritables in Seattle at (206) 322-7782.
