Tyler and I have been working on a business card design to represent the studio work that he is doing. He got proofs back yesterday. We’re considering some transparent foil embossing on the part that contains his name, but regardless, they look great. The finished product should be back in a couple of weeks.
I dropped by Tyler’s studio the other night and saw this in the front room drying. It’s pretty amazing to think that almost all of his works start out looking like this at some point or another. And impressive, even at this stage. Yves Klein, anyone?

Tyler completed a new painting in the past week. It’s titled Encroachment and is currently available for purchase at Evergreen Gallery in Salt Lake City (direct link). The size of the painting is 22” wide by 28” high, and it was done on canvas.

Last weekend Tyler and I went out to Seattle to drop some paintings off at Veritables (located at 2806 East Madison in the Madison Park neighborhood).
